A summer wedding at The Carriage Hall in Plumtree for our lovely bride Antoinette and Alex (who looked very smart in his kilt!) was everything it should be.
It was a beautifully sunny summer's day. Antoinette wore the Irene gown from Wendy Makin, a classically stylish wedding dress, that is relaxed and easy to wear.
Hannah and Chris got married at Brecon Cathedral on the 7th April and had a wonderful day. A very special part of their wedding was that Chris' dad conducted the service.
Hannah found her dress on our sale rail! It suited her perfectly and with the addition of a veil from Richard Designs and a sparkly belt from Windsor Bridal Jewellery, the look was complete. The dress was Joceline from the French Collection.
Sophie and Jason had a small and very happy wedding at East Lodge Hotel in the Derbyshire Peak district.
Sophie had come to us looking for an easy to wear dress that she would feel relaxed in. Something that would suit her style and character. And we had one just for her, hanging on our sale rail!
The clever design of Sophie's Linea Raffaelli dress was partly down to it's detachable outer skirt. Like a veil, tulle trimmed with lace, the outer skirt could be removed making the elegant column style dress beneath perfect for a fun celebration.
The open back and Belgian lace gave the dress a modern twist too.

On a very rainy day, though you wouldn't know it looking at these photos, our bride Grace married Andrew at the very elegant Stapleford Park in Leicestershire.
Grace looked stunning in her bridal separates from Watters.
We added the bow at her back using the same fabric of the dusky pink tulle skirt.
We also made her veil to match too, making hers an almost bespoke ensemble.
We had nothing to do with her shoes though...Christian Louboutin is just a little beyond our reach!
Grace's flowers were by Sophie's Flowers and the photography by Kimberley Hill.
Our bride Jen was married at Swancar Farm, Nottinghamshire and she wanted a clean elegance about her dress. She chose the gorgeous Judith gown from Watters. It's a classic A-line style with a neat waist-line band that trims in the waist beautifully. The fabric is very different than the norm in bridal. A stunning pale ivory solid lace with a rose and leaf design. And Judith has pockets too.
Emma had a small and joyous wedding at The Manner's Arms, Leicestershire. She chose a dress that went perfectly with her easy style and relaxed celebration.
Her dress came off our sale rail...always a bonus for a bride on a budget! It's pleated skirt and no train worked so well for Emma's plans. Simple, stylish and easy to wear.
Our bride Sammy needed a big dress for a big location! She married Declan in the Cathedral in Nottingham before having her reception at The Carriage Hall in Plumtree.
We had Wendy Makin make a bespoke dress for Sammy. The lace bodice was part of a dress called Renee, and the full tulle skirt from Dani.
We added a super-long train for extra dramatic effect.
We had Wendy Makin create a dress just for Gemma. With their ability to make dresses with changes to skirts or tops to create a bride's very own bespoke design, Gemma got her dream dress. An elegant mix of two became a Harlow/Sari combo complete with pockets. Perfect for a Nottingham Cathedral wedding.
